Caroline Flack and Iain Stirling will both be returning to the show, as the host and narrator respectively. Casting The Applications for this season, opened up as soon as 2018's season had finished, with singles being persuaded to start recording audition tapes and videos to send in to producers. At the start of April 2019, it was reported by the Daily Star on Sunday, that the producers were looking for more body-diversity in the applicants for the season. This move came after backlash from the fans, who complained about this subject during the previous season. The applications for this season, closed on April 30th. However on May 3rd, 2019 the application closing date was extended till July 15th,2019.[3] Villa The first images of the villa were revealed on May 8th,2019, where it was revealed that the villa would remain in the same location as the previous 2 seasons, after speculation that the villa location would change. The configuration of the villa's parts largely remained the same, apart from the outdoors area which is getting a major overhaul. The images released were mainly of the villa's preparation for this season.[4] The first official images of the villa, were released to the public on May 30th,2019, just 4 days before the launch of the season.
